1. Temple of the Vedic Planetarium: A tribute song

Ok, everyone's already talking about it, but just in case you haven't already heard, the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium Tribute Song is fast becoming a world hit among the Hare Krishna devotee community around the world. We are delighted to have been chosen to compose this song by the communications director of the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium, Sunanda Dasa who you can reach on Facebook here. Sunanda Prabhu, a disciple of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, the founder of the Hare Krishna movement, is also a musician himself, whose former band The Pundits can be reached here.

We are extremely grateful and honoured with such an opportunity. The song was written and composed by Yamuna Jivana Dasa, and was expertly mixed and mastered by Uttamasloka Dasa, someone who certainly deserves a proper introduction here.

He is the author of a very profound book aimed at the already groomed and seasoned Krishna devotees: The Realization and Manifestation of Your Eternal Identity: Identity Transformation Through Raganuga-bhakti and he is a direct disciple of the founder of the Hare Krishna movement: His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada.

But back to the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium song, above we provide the main planetarium website containing the song, but here are some additional places you can get the song, completely free of charge, either to download or listen on-line:

2. New interesting media on Gaura Records

No, we're not talking about music this time. It's Yamuna Jivana's personal life brought into focus. There's an article on how he met his wife from half way across the world following a visit to Kamyavana in Sri Vrindavana Dhama in 2006-2007.

In that article, you can also find a link to a journal he kept during that visit to Vrindavana, which is particularly interesting because it his his personal experience from the perspective of a totally blind devotee practitioner.

There's also a live South African TV broadcast, showing the family through an actual real Krishna home school day. The entire show is available for viewing directly from the Gaura Records Audio website.

Finally, you can now access a link to Yamuna Jivana's early archives of the "Simple Living, Higher Thinking" radio show, which airs on Radio 2000 FM Nationally in South Africa. We want to thank Mukunda Datta Dasa for admini
