Story

Hare Krishna.
This is our humble attempt at reproducing this prayerful song of Narottama Dasa Thakur, using modern Western instrumentation, for the pleasure of the Vaishnavas of the post-modern era.

The lead singer here is Her Grace Mother Subadhra Devi Dasi, who happens to also be my mother-in-law originally from Guyana!
During her short visit with us, we took the opportunity to produce this recording, and the result turned out quite a dance track.
Also visiting us was our sister-in-law Danya Saci Dasi, who can be heard singing chorus.  The two Little sadhus Narottama and Syamananda, who happen to be my sons, join the chorus during the Mahamantra section at the end.

It is our hope that these songs will be taken up by the people of this age, as it is capable of destroying the suffering of the conditioned state of existence. Being the pure words of the pure devotee Narottama Dasa Thakur, he prays with all humility, that being the most fallen person that the Lord may deliver him, as Lord Nityananda is the deliverer of the most fallen souls.

Who in this age cannot claim to be most fallen.  Listening to this song will no doubt impact our hearts with purification and piety, that we may some day taste the freedom in becoming devotees of Lord Caitanya and Lord Nityananda.

This being a dance track befitting modern Disco music, may we the people of this post-modern age dance heartily to perfection for the love of Lord Sri Krishna Caitanya.

In producing this song, we appeal to the devotees of the Lord to bless us that we too may become purified and happy in devotional attitude towards the supreme Lord.

Hare Krishna.
